How many of you have heard of today’s story – ‘The Six Swans’?

It’s originally from Germany and was collected by The Brothers Grimm.

We like it because there’s so much to think about with the characters in the story.

Can you imagine being turned into a swan?!

Those brothers spent most of 6 years being swans – would you like that or not?

How would you spend your time?

What would you miss about being human?

There’s also a few characters who have stories that need finishing off!

What happened to the King at the start of the story?

And the evil stepmother who turns the brothers into swans – what happens to her?

Right at the end of the story, the Kings evil mother is unmasked and her scheming is revealed – but what should happen to her?
